Men of Light in the age of Darkness
Parishioners from surrounding parishes of St Peter, St James, St Michael in Hudson, Queen of Peace, St Vincent DePaul and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church are invited to attend our 2nd Annual Men's Fellowship Conference.
Speakers will be Fr. John Anglin and Pete O'Shea.
Fr. John Anglin is an author and Franciscan Friar since 1971. He is currently stationed in St. Pete. He has traveled and done missionary work in Bolivia and has been involved in inner city parish ministry. He has served as Retreat Master for over 400 retreats.
Pete O’Shea is a veteran radio broadcaster for Inspiration AM 1110, stand-up comedian, writer, motivational speaker and Senior Youth Minister at St. Pat’s Church in Largo. He has presented a retreat day for the staff at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and speaks at many parish retreats and missions. Inspiration AM 1110 is Tampa’s source for religious inspiration since 1976.
During the retreat there will be time for Reconciliation, Rosary and Benediction and Mass.
Coffee and pastry will be available in the morning. Lunch is included.
Family members are welcome to attend Mass with conference attendees. There will be a reserved section in the church for attendees and their families.
Seating is limited to 200 so act now to reserve a spot. Registration opens at 7am.
